Petersen Design Associates, LLC is a full service interior design firm, specializing in residential design, kitchen and bath design, as well as new home construction projects. Our office in Northern California serves clients throughout the Bay Area and beyond, including Southern California, Hawaii and Montana.

Constance Petersen’s design philosophy is straightforward: “All spaces, no matter what the underlying design style, should be livable and comfortable, creating energy that is both vibrant and subtle.” While every client’s personal style varies, Petersen, along with her team of design professionals, works with space, color, texture, and light to create residences and rooms that are, quite simply, easy to live in.

Before acquiring a degree in interior design, Petersen earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in chemistry — a science of composition and structure that explores how different elements interact with one another and with energy.

Petersen’s training in both the arts and sciences enables her to work effectively with space, light, color and texture to create powerful living spaces through an innovative blend of modern and traditional elements.
